1. Get Excited! For now, work on getting your ski legs ready. Click here to review your sizing details. It’s mission critical and lets us ensure a seamless fitting when you arrive.  Extra reminder to update kids’ sizes, we know how fast they grow! 
2. The Reminder: We’ll send you a text two days before your trip to remind you of your delivery time and location. If anything changes with your travel plans, the sooner you let us know the better. 
3. The Service: if there’s anything you need during your trip, we’re just a phone call away.
4. The Return: We make it simple so you can make the most of your last day on the mountain. We’ll send you a text to confirm and coordinate your returns.

Policy Information

Payment Policy:
A credit card is required to hold any reservation. The credit card may be authorized for the full amount within 24 hours of booking and will be charged for equipment within 24 hours of delivery. Promotions cannot be added or adjusted after delivery.

Early Returns:
If you wish to return your equipment before your pre-arranged return date, you must notify Black Tie 24 hours prior to the desired return day, any early returns without notice will be assessed one full rental day charge per person. Black Tie Skis does not do half-day rentals.

Pick-Up and Return Policy:
The rental period will begin on the delivery date when the equipment is delivered before 2 pm. Equipment delivered after 2 pm will have a rental period beginning the following day. Equipment not returned by 9 am the morning after the due date will result in an extra late charge per day.

Cancellations:
Reservations canceled 48 hours prior to arrival will receive a full refund. If canceled within 48 hours, no refund is due.

Damage Waiver:
An optional damage waiver is available and covers damage to the equipment caused by normal wear and tear incurred while skiing. It does NOT cover damage due to NEGLIGENCE, THEFT, OR LOSS. If a ski or board is returned with considerable damage outside of normal wear and tear, you will be charged a minimum of $60 for a full tune of the equipment.

Skip Day Policy:
We no longer offer skip days.

Ski to Snowboard Exchange Policy:
Please schedule all ski to snowboard or snowboard to ski exchanges at least 12 hours in advance. Please note that last-minute exchanges will take at least 30 minutes to gather all required equipment depending on availability. Total time for a mid-day ski to board exchange can take up to an hour, so please schedule accordingly. Exchanged equipment delivered has a 2-day minimum rental period and will be charged as such if returned after one day.

Minimum Rental Days:
At Black Tie we have a 2-day minimum for all ski & snowboard rental packages during non-peak times. The following dates require higher minimum rental days to book, and refunds for early returns will not be processed if days fall below the requirements.
12/24/2024 - 12/31/2024: 4 Days 
2/13/2025- 2/15/2025 : 3 Days
3/8/2025 - 3/9/2025: 4 Days  
3/15/2025-3/17/2025: 4 Days

Kids Rent Free:
